We are excited to be a part of United World Mission (click to link) - a Christian organization with vision to "see a flourishing church, led by well-equipped local leaders, serving every city and neighborhood of the world". United World Mission seeks to partner with the global church to equip leaders, establish churches and engage in holistic ministry.

Our specific engagement with United World Mission is with the Theological Education Initiative  (click to link). In response to the need for well-equipped local leaders in all nations of the world, TEI recruits, deploys, mentors and develops missional scholars and places them in partnership with theological communities across the world. In short, we have been accepted by UWM and TEI as missional scholars. (In fact, we are the 27th and 28th missional scholars to come on board with TEI!)

ESCUELA DE ESTUDIOS PASTORALES (ESEPA)

Through TEI, we have connected with a seminary in San Jose, Costa Rica called Escuela de Estudios Pastorales (ESEPA) (click to link). In December of 2022, we hope to move to Costa Rica and begin our process of working with ESEPA. Before we are able to teach in the seminary, we will dedicate a year or so to immersive language learning. The long term goal is for us both to be teaching full time at ESEPA, in the native language - sent out by UWM and working directly with the local seminary we hope to align ourselves with the shared vision of training, discipling and equipping local pastors and leaders!
